Vellotti's Chess Kids, established in 2004, is the most comprehensive children's chess coaching company in the U.S. We have developed very fun and original kid-friendly curriculum for every age group from preschoolers through teens! Our popular chess programs are offered in a variety of venues from preschool elective classes to elementary and after school enrichment programs.
We also offer a comprehensive chess training program year round at our dedicated chess school located in Boise. Chess camps, tournaments, and fun weekend events are held every month to make sure that chess is presented in a variety of exciting ways! About Us
Founded by Daniel J. Vellotti, a State and National Chess Champion, the coaching company has trained dozens of chess champions on both the state and national level. As a published author and nationally renowned children's chess trainer of fifteen years, Coach Vellotti has developed an innovative and original "Success in Chess" Training System®. This system includes a comprehensive curriculum and complete set of Workbooks designed to take students ages 3 and up from Beginner to Advanced levels.
Coach Vellotti's proprietary "Teaching and Learning" storytelling method allows all children to feel comfortable in playing and improving their game. Programs, classes, camps, and other events feature unique lesson plans so that students can learn chess strategies and tactics in an exciting and action-packed way. Beginners are always Welcome!
